Abstract

The article researches the current state of the problem of alcohol consumption by persons under the age of majority. An analytical review of the official statistics materials on the studied problem has been carried out. A secondary analysis of the data of the student survey (2021, N=528) is presented, the links between the characteristics of the parental family and the early alcoholism of children are investigated. The main factors that influence the early alcoholization of children (from 10 years and younger) are living without parents, low family income, low level of education of parents. The analysis of the content of groups in popular virtual social networks and communication channels, specialized forums for the presence of propaganda of alcohol consumption was carried out. The urgency of the researched problem, which requires the development of effective counteraction measures, is revealed. The recommendations aimed at improving the effectiveness of countering the alcoholization of minors are formulated.
