Abstract

The collective monograph presents some results of theoretical, methodological and empirical studies of the interaction of factors that determine changes in human capital in the spatial development and social situation of the Russian Arctic. The research was carried out by sociologists from the Tyumen Industrial University and the West Siberian branch of the Federal Scientific Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences together with colleagues from the Arctic regions (Arkhangelsk, Anadyr, Salekhard, etc.). Particular attention is paid to the Arctic specifics of the main components of human capital - professional education and health of northerners. The monograph is of interest to students, teachers, researchers, and everyone who is not indifferent to the problems of developing the main natural and economic potential of Russia - the Arctic.
