Abstract

The article analyzes the formation of a new world order as a process that began with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the world socialist system, resulting in a bipolar world based on the confrontation of capitalism and socialism, was replaced by a unipolar world order. Now this process, considered in the socio-political perspective, is entering a new phase of development. which is the transition to a multipolar world. The conclusion that the democratic renewal of the world order is possible only on the basis of broad international cooperation with the active participation of the new Russia is substantiated.
