Abstract

The article is devoted to the detecting of common axiological attitudes of various social groups in Russia and abroad, to civilizational dialogue and cooperation between different countries and peoples. A comparison of the views of these groups on what values are global and universal, and what content is invested by representatives of expert communities of different countries is demonstrated. On this basis similarity and difference of semantics of values and their interpretation are revealed. The authors identify three types of global values. Basing on the obtained results, the authors make conclusions about the clarification of the definition of the concept of global universal values and about the peculiarities of the interpretation of global universal values in the context of international politics. They emphasize the cross-sectoral nature of the declared subject and the need for a comprehensive approach to its study jointly with other branches of social science (philosophy, psychology, sociology, political science) in order to develop common scientific principles for solving urgent problems, equally taking into account the peculiarities of inter-sectoral regulation.
