Abstract

The relevance of the topic is due to the novelty of this technology in the Russian practice of functioning of non-profit organizations, as well as the insufficient theoretical and methodological base in the study of this social phenomenon. The economic determinant in theoretical constructs presupposes the perception of this scientific category as a way of financial development, which allows attracting additional resources from external sources. The process approach in the study of finraising, focuses on organized activities to collect donations in order to provide resources for socially significant programs, and a systematic view involves complex actions to ensure efficiency by attracting not only material, but also non-material means (information, human). The purpose of this study is a theoretical and practical analysis of the concept of fundraising, as well as identifying its role in the implementation of socially significant initiatives at the regional level. As a method, the authors used interviews with industry experts, which allowed them to objectively consider the problems and prospects for the development of findraising in solving socially significant initiatives in the region. The main conclusions include the clarification of the concept, the identification of specific results of the problems and methods of overcoming them.
