Abstract

The work is devoted to the risks of global climate change and the socio-economic threats that this phenomenon poses for the regions of Russia. The significant territorial length of our country and the great remoteness of many territories from the world ocean, leads to the fact that the rate of global climate change here is several times higher than the world average, which cannot but affect the future socio-economic development. The consequences of global climate change are already expressed today by an increase in the number and intensity of dangerous meteorological phenomena, which negatively affect the socio-economic development of the regions of Russia.
