Abstract

The article examines the issues related to the processes of ghettoization in the case of concentration of refugees on the example of two EU countries - Denmark and Austria. The choice is due to similar processes of migration and influx of refugees and a similar integration policy, which is in line with the main directives of the European Commission. However, housing policies in these countries are very different, which leads, with other relatively equal characteristics, to the emergence of ghettos in Denmark and their absence in Austria. Key words: refugees, integration, housing policy, ghettoization.
