Abstract

The standard of living of the population is a complex multi-faceted category, the study of which is impossible within the framework of one science. The article discusses modern approaches to the study of the standard of living of the population. The result of the study is the systematization and development of the author's approach to the issue of interdisciplinary research of the standard of living of the population. An integrated approach to the analysis of the standard of living of the population makes it possible to identify problem areas that need to be taken into account when developing social policy measures to achieve the main goal of public administration - ensuring a high standard of living for citizens. Assessment and timely monitoring of changes in the standard of living of the population are the most important tools for developing regional policy measures.
