Abstract

The purpose of the research is to study approaches and methodological basis for the formation of institutional foundations for the formation and development of the student family as a resource of demographic development in Russia. The methodological basis of the research consists of methods of demographic and sociological analysis of the functioning of the institute of the student family, as well as theories, concepts that formed the basis of familistic sociology. The results of the research. The institutional foundations for the formation and development of the student family, which are important for the formation of its legal status, designation as a subject and object of social policy, such as: essential characteristics, specific problems, targets, are substantiated. The type of a prosperous student family is proposed as the main target of institutionalization of the student family. The criteria for the well-being of the student family are highlighted. The prospects of the research consist in the formulation of indicators, indicators and indices of the well-being of the student family, allowing to identify the stages and evaluate the process of institutionalization of the student family, to propose a set of measures to promote the well-being of a young student family.
