Abstract

The ESG approach is a set of standards used by investors for making decision on investments. Obtaining such standards is a challenge for rating agencies. Today these organizations use various methods of calculating ESG ratings. Each technique is a procedure for obtaining a structured set of expert assessments covering the economic activity of the enterprise. The paper proposes to organize assessment procedures on the principles of smart technologies as a collective conceptual work of all participants in the economic activity of the enterprise, covered by assessments. It is proposed to use a special type of visual ontology as a tool for such an organization. The advantages of the proposed approach are: the reflection of all stages of the assessment procedure in a single, visible form and the collective scaling of the provisions of the rating methods, including the gathering and processing of data based on them. The paper considers examples to illustrate the features of building the visual ontology.
