Abstract

Currently, we are observing a trend towards a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition and generally conscious consumption and are trying to change the range of products. There are more and more people who monitor their nutrition and food quality. The provision of high-quality food for the entire population, that is, its food security is the basis of prosperity and political independence of any state, as well as its highest national priority. In the course of studying the problems of formation and prospects for the development of the production of environmentally friendly products, the need for a diverse study of the regulatory and legal support for the development of organic production and circulation of organic products, both at the national and supranational levels, the task of increasing the export potential of organic agriculture is emphasized. The author reveals the problem of the lack of high-quality and vital food products in the daily diet of the majority of citizens due to the lack of opportunity to purchase them and the need to ensure the economic accessibility of the population to a healthy diet. The study shows the need for the possible organization of vertical agro-industrial formations, as well as the presence of effective institutions that stimulate the development of intersectoral and interregional ties, which will allow the regions to provide the population with high-quality food and improve the standard of living of the population.
