Abstract

The article considers the topological approach to the study of the political in the context of the analysis of socio-political reality. This makes it possible to expand the range of political studies based on the use of topology categories in the scientific search – space, form, time, as well as the methodology of political topology. It is shown that topological topics in the field of social sciences and humanities are rapidly expanding. Currently, an active search is underway for innovative interpretations of the processes and phenomena of modernity based on the synthesis of methodologies of mathematical, natural and socio-humanitarian sciences.  The appeal to the topological optics of socio-political reality in socio-humanitarian knowledge is associated with the complication of the nature of the processes of social development in conditions of uncertainty, nonlinearity, as well as the complexity of their analysis. The increasing research interest in the topology of space and the topology of form indicates the relevance of scientific research in the field of explaining the new social reality. The topological optics of political research allows for a qualitative and quantitative analysis of large–scale processes in the modern world - digitalization, networking, informatization. Under these conditions, the evolution of the political takes place, which, under the influence of these processes, turns into a new political. It is noted that the processes of networking in modern society, along with digitalization, have a significant impact on the processes of political evolution. Digitalization can be considered as one of the main factors of this process. The new digital space, which is being formed in the course of digitalization, is an innovative environment of the political space. Turning to topological topics in the analysis of the properties of the political allows you to expand the range of research in the political sciences.
