Abstract

In the context of the general self-isolation regime associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, loneliness is becoming one of the most global, universal human problems. The coronavirus exacerbated a previously imperceptible situation of loneliness in the world and turned people into the participants in the largest psychological experiment on the planet. In this regard, it is relevant to describe loneliness as a social phenomenon included in the stratum aspect (among di erent population groups), as well as in the context of cross-country analysis. Modern society is increasingly faced with this problem and forms its response solutions. The article presents the expert analysis of the manifestations of the problem of loneliness in modern society, clarifying the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the spread and strengthening of the phenomenon in question. The presented problems require a more extensive study, since its consequences can have a significant negative impact on the formation of a “post-like” society. The modern public has undoubtedly paid attention to this phenomenon, programs for smoothing the situation are being formed, however, it is important not only to identify and determine the existing problem, but also to clarify the existing relationships between the further development of the phenomenon under consideration with other social processes. This article is devoted to attempts of such a multivariate, correlation, system analysis.
