Abstract

It is necessary to solve fundamental issues affecting income systems throughout a person's life, his employment, medical and biological aspects of life in older ages, which are not limited only to the organization of leisure for the elderly and patronage care for them. In these conditions, it is necessary to prepare and implement a state program for the formation of new institutions of social insurance and social support for older citizens: mandatory social insurance for long-term care after serious illnesses, which should be financed not only by employers, but also by the state, and the workers themselves; geriatric insurance for pensioners of older age groups, which provides for payment at the expense of insurance funds for medicines, health monitoring, medical counseling and other medical and social services.
