Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the history of the uneven development of the Eastern, Western and Central regions of the PRC. The analysis was based on the situation of the main functional regions of China in the period after the start of the policy of reforms and openness until 2010. An analysis of the works of Chinese scientists, statistical data on the problems of uneven regional development makes it possible to identify the causes and features of the development of disproportionality in the PRC.
