Abstract

The article considers the initial premises and research optics of the concepts of domination, in which the power and politics of modern democracies are measured on the scale of domination - empowerment and are evaluated from the standpoint of their orientation to the development of subjectivity, discursive consciousness, rights and opportunities of members of the polity. The research toolkit of concepts, its political philosophical and theoretical foundations are analyzed. The data of panel all-Russian surveys on the degree and nature of the defeat of society by the authorities in the form of domination are presented.
