Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic and the social distancing measures taken in response increase the likelihood of a steep downturn for many countries. A key challenge is to prevent this initial shock from turning into an even deeper and more prolonged recession. This short article, therefore, examines the contours of the socio-economic new normalcy, the formal and substantive characteristics of the transformation of an employment contract / contract under the influence of pandemic factors and trends on the example of Russia, social partnership in the regulation of labor relations during the COVID-19 pandemic, and further. The author, in particular, concludes that it is social partnership and social dialogue that are capable of promptly leveling the challenges and trends of the pandemic recession and similar problems. Article is written within performance of the state task on a planned subject “Russia and world: interaction of internal and external factors of development of the country and their reflection in mass consciousness”.
