Abstract

This article analyzes the main indicators of the standard of living of the population in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The purpose of the article is to monitor the main indicators of the standard of living of the population, taking into account regional specifics and the peculiarities of the socio-economic development of the region, based on official statistics and subjective assessments of the population of their financial condition (according to a sample survey of households). According to all the main indicators of the standard of living, the Republic of Bashkortostan is inferior to the average Russian values. Despite the fact that the Republic of Bashkortostan ranks fourth in the Volga Federal District in terms of per capita income, it has a fairly high level of subjective poverty compared to other regions - 25%, which is more than twice the official level.
