Abstract

The seriousness of the problems associated with the aging of the population, despite the different rates of demographic aging in different countries, has become a global problem. The scientific literature highlights the fact that it is necessary to overcome negative stereotypes about old age and aging, because, firstly, they affect the perception of old age and aging and, secondly, they can create a social environment that supports the social exclusion of older people.
