Abstract

Applied ethics has recently concurred the rivalry between social and humanitarian sciences to be put into university curriculum. And this is a global trend in changing higher education. Meanwhile applied ethics is introduced rather chaotically and without any public discussion in experts‟ circles, as between moral philosophers. But it seems that applied ethics isfirmly becoming the major resource in civic and moral educations of younger generations. Many universities have initiated new courses in different branches of professional ethics, but rather sporadically, and as facultative at universities‟ own risks. Nevertheless, engineering ethics in the not distant future could become the basic course of the whole 4-year bachelor cycle. The program and methodology of such a course are proposed in this article.
