Attention is focused on the problems of employment of persons with disabilities. The social and legal problems of persons with disabilities, which create restrictions on their professional self-realization, as a result of which they are deprecated from social recognition, are analyzed. As a result, the effective participation of persons with disabilities in professional life on an equal footing with other members of society remains difficult to achieve. The possibilities of changing the social status of weakly resource groups of the population and overcoming their social exclusion due to the implementation of active life strategies, with the help of which they independently integrate and adapt in society, are analyzed. The issues of the real situation of the social group of persons with disabilities in the process of integration into society are analyzed.
