Abstract
Demos and ethnos are considered to be the roots of two moddels of nationalism in the modern world: ethno-cultural and civil. Depending on the choice between them we have got two philosophical strategies of secondary education. And despite optimistic forcasting ethno-cultural nationalism in 21 century still dominates in the realm of school curricula, especially in humanitarian disciplines.
