Abstract
The article describes the results of investigation of 980 teenagers in Moscow, Bryansk, Vladimir and Tambov in 1994-1995 years. The psychological and social features of teenagers measured. Author shows that these characteristics are do not differ in intact and maternal families in contrast widespread opinion in Russia. The stepfamilies were worse for girls from the point of view the teenager’s development.
