Abstract

The article considers the conservative approach to the analysis and evaluation of provocations. This approach is mainly used in the discourses of political scientists. The author sees provocation as an ambivalent phenomenon. Provocation in General, there is the appeal to naturalness in their positive forms, aims at liberation from the dogmas and limitations. In negative manifestations, it is directed at the suppression and restriction of freedom. Clear boundaries between negative and positive forms do not exist: all depends on the situation and the position of the observer.
