Abstract

Identity is a set of self-characteristics entity that constitute the role-prescriptions (including the required for their performance quality, skills, inclinations), and status (membership of an individual to a particular group with the appropriate rights and obligations, and symbolic capital). This set reflects the basic set of social positions, forming the society. The main function of identity — marking of the subject, performing a certain role. However, the demands of society, the requirements of the individual adjusted an individual based on his needs and abilities. The main forms of identity are: supporting (socially acceptable), transformed (pretending), marginal (edge), accumulated, actual, projected. Examines in detail the little-studied form of identity design.
