Abstract

The article deals with the problem of human dimension of politics in the new social reality. Profound changes in the modern world give new meanings and opportunities not only technological, but also ideological and socio-cultural character. The network society is characterized by complex multi-dimensional processes that change all aspects of life, including man himself. The characteristic features of the new «networked man», his competences acquired in the information age are allocated and described. Special attention is paid to communicative connections and relations in the space of virtual communications. The author substantiates the idea that personal projection of communicative interactions is important for the «networked man» because the construction of identity of the person occurs through communications. The authors conclude that in a networked society the possibilities of influence of a «networked man» on socio – political processes through communications are expanding.
