Abstract

In the monograph on the basis of the results of regional sociological research, which is the concretization of a large-scale all-Russian project conducted by the Federal Research Sociological Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences under the leadership of Academician M.K. Gorshkov, analyzed the general and specific features of the perception of social processes, values ​​and behavioral settings, due not only to the socio-demographic and territorial structure of the regional community, but also the mentality of the Dona. The presented generalized data were obtained within the second stage of the investigation of the post-reform processes in the Rostov region. The first stage was conducted by the team of the South Russian branch of the Institute of Sociology of RAS in 2011 and was devoted to the study of 20 years of reforms. The study was conducted according to the methodology used in the all-Russian survey, which makes it possible not only to use the results for a comparative analysis of the regional data of 2011 and 2017, but also to understand the processes taking place in the Rostov region in the all-Russian context. The monograph is intended for specialists in the field of sociology, regional studies, who are interested in the problems of regional development.
