Abstract
The tendency to use complicated analytical schemes in modern sociological practice requires, according to the author, to assess the degree of their conformity with scientific ideas about the mechanisms of understanding in the social sphere. The latent structural and methodical features of well-known sociological concepts are discussed in the article.
