Abstract
The article deals with the problem of the human dimension of political relations in the new social reality.An attempt is made to analyze a new type of personality – the network political person; its characteristic features and competencies acquired in the information age are highlighted and described. Special attention is paid to communication links in the space of political relations.Based on the content analysis of a number of sociological studies, the authors conclude that in a networked society, the possibilities of influence of anetworked political person on socio-political processes through communications are expanding.
