Abstract

The article examines the attitude of teachers to their professional activities. The study revealed that the pedagogical community in the regional centers of Russian regions operates within the framework of civil activism. In this connection, the scientific literature devoted to the study of civil activism is analyzed. The empirical basis of the research was provided by in-depth interviews and focus groups with principals and teachers of basic and additional education, as well as cultural figures. Based on the research, the forms of active citizenship of teachers and figures of cultural and leisure institutions are shown.
