Abstract

The collection of articles presents the results of research carried out by the Volga and Bashkir branches of the FNISC RAS. A large amount of empirical data is conceptualized in articles reflecting the main issues of socio-economic and socio-political relations in the regions. The collection examines the pressing problems of the development of the regions included in the Volga Federal District. An analysis of a wide range of issues of social stratification and management of social issues is presented. It also raises especially urgent problems of determining by citizens and their communities their own identity, as well as analyzes the associated process of integration, the emergence and perception of social risks, examines political processes that are a context that sets a certain framework for social realities. in sociology and regional studies, as well as for local, regional and federal managers
