Abstract
The book by a well-known sociologist and writer, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Institute for Socio-Political Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISPI FNISTS RAS), in the creation of which the author took an active part, is an original fusion of sociology and poetry. The conclusions and generalizations of the author, assessments and judgments of experts, contained in various scientific and journalistic texts (scientific prose), find their own reflection and confirmation in poetry texts (sociological poetry). The book is addressed to a wide range of readers, but first of all, following in the footsteps of young sociologists and political scientists.
