Abstract

A distinctive feature of the population aged 65+ is its serious vulnerability to COVID-19. On the one hand, in this regard, they are affected by a stricter regime of self-isolation. And on the other hand, as many medicines are characterized by side effects, so self-isolation, according to many researchers, affects the body of elderly people negatively. The problems exposed during the coronavirus pandemic of a new type are not so much medical or biological, they are political and social problems. It is today that the question is being decided what Russia chooses not only for for the elderly, but also for all present and future generations.
