Abstract

The article examines the nature and results of impact of feature content by TV- and internet - broadcasters on formation of values of the Russian audience. The methodology of the study is based on the socio-cultural content analysis. According to the author, among other results of such content impact are ero-sion and disbalance of Russian society value–normative system. The research topic is considered to be one of the key issues for sociology of culture and mass communications, which should enable assessment of trends in cultural and information spheres transformation and formulate guidelines for effi-cient Government policy in this sphere.
