It focuses on the Union state of Russia and Belarus as a catalyst for integration throughout the post-Soviet space. Under the conditions of the formation of a new world order and the destructive tendencies accompanying this process, the current problems of Russia’s interaction with the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union are examined from the point of view of the creation and implementation within its framework of a civilizational project of a non-Western path of development. This project includes the recreation of a civilization of humanism based on a common meaningful life perspective, a model of the future developed with our common historical experience, The article analyses international integration projects of Russia emerging in thepost-Soviet space.
