Abstract

Our research deals with neighborhood online communities as subjects of communication about the environment, as well as subjects of collective action regarding this environment. We proceed from the position of the environmental approach that the neighboring online or offline community in one way or another reacts to the environmental context in which it was formed and functions. Interacting through common public or channel, neighbors create a discourse that is a semantic field, which reflects the narratives of everyday life, local histories, as well as there is a conceptualization of the distinctive features of the environment that make up sense of place
