The authors analyse the economic consequences for Armenia, including the loss of natural resources, infrastructure, and industry. The paper proposes an approach to quantifying economic damage based on expert and statistical data from open sources. The results show that on a per capita basis the loss of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), resources, production and infrastructure on its territory cost each citizen of the Republic of Armenia from 18.1 to 18.9 thousand dollars in direct losses, considering indirect losses - from 18.4 to 19.2 thousand dollars. This volume of losses is significant and may be significant for the Republic of Armenia in the context of raw material independence from other states, as more than 98% of losses are natural resources and minerals. The article is of interest to economists, political scientists, and specialists in international relations
