Abstract

Throughout the post-Soviet period, the main and traditional direction of labor migration from Central Asian countries was Russia, but after the start of the Special Military Operation, Western countries imposed economic sanctions against Russia. During this period, labor migration from these countries, in addition to their contribution to the Russian economy, also became the main tool for developing relations between the countries.
