Abstract

The article analyzes the phenomenon of network reconfiguration of social and socio-political relations in technologically advanced communication conditions. The concepts of “network society” and “social networks” are defined not in the technological-digital, but in the socio-cultural aspect. A social organism is a self-regulating system that is inevitably forced to restore itself after the aggravation of the crisis peaks of the historical transition from one evolutionary turn to the next. The formation of social networks as a principle of reorganization of social space denies the logic of the structural-functional scientific paradigm, reorients the focus of scientific attention to the classical theories of phenomenology, hermeneutics, “understanding sociology” with the prospect of developing new theoretical and methodological approaches to the study and explanation of ongoing processes and phenomena.
