Abstract

This article opens a series of works that analyze the historical prerequisites for the formation of two social groups that have the properties of dominant socio-political classes. With the dominance of one or another group, the development of society occurs evolutionarily along one of the branches of socio-economic formations, the ultimate states of which are the structures of state and bourgeois capitalism. The equilibrium development of society corresponds to the presence of features of both branches of formations and a two-party political system expressing the interests of these groups. Transitions between formation branches associated with a change in the value system are revolutionary. The article has a polemical focus, the ideas presented in it are the result of generalization and systematization of known facts, aimed at identifying structural imbalances in the existing political system in order to eliminate them.
