Abstract

The article examines the specifics of assessment and certification of film and serial content by the regulator. The author concludes that in order to create and demonstrate content that promotes traditional values, it is worth developing, among other things, recommendations from the scientific community. The paper also addresses the functioning of the Russian TV industry and the production of domestic fiction TV content in the context of sanctions pressure, which since 2014, and even more so since the start of the Special Military Operation in February 2022, has had an unrelenting impact on all sectors of the Russian industry, including the production of symbolic content, to which we include fiction and game content (films and TV shows).
