Abstract

In this paper, a population change model of the Russian Federation during 2000–2021 was constructed using the regression analysis method with the help of the statsmodels library from Python programming language. The data on population, fertility, mortality, migration, etc. served as a source for the analysis. As a result, it was revealed that the main factors influencing the dynamics of the population of the Russian Federation are the number of divorces, the number of women and the availability of medical care to women. The obtained data can be used to make administrative decisions aimed at population growth.
