Abstract

The purpose of the article is to substantiate and expand the subject field of "Russian sociology" in the scientific circulation of Russian sociology. Research methods: various general scientific methods have been used, including the comparative method, logical and historical methods, the method of historical materialism, the materialistic dialectic method, and others.  Russian Russian society results: the conditions and directions of the development of Russian sociology and its research are determined, which are adequate to the interests and socio-cultural codes of the Russian state-civilization, which are supported by the majority of the people of Russia. Scientific novelty: the factors of the current impasse in the development of Russian society are presented. The main characteristic of the current existence of Russian society is the degradation of all its structural elements (economy, politics, culture, education, health, science, law, morality, family, and others). as a consequence of liberal commodity-market relations.
