Abstract

In 2020, the Constitution of the Russian Federation was amended to regulate the directions of state family policy to overcome the crisis in the demographic and value spheres. Any managerial, practical work should be based on an information base, which is justified, among other things, by historical and sociological research. The purpose of the article is to identify the reasons for the formation of a positive attitude of young people towards such liberal values as support for sexual minorities, gender reassignment, legalization of same—sex marriage and light drugs, which are factors of deformation of family and marital relations. Themethodological basis of the research is dialectical materialism, which postulates the formation of a «multilayered» social consciousness by the economic, historical and social living conditions of different social groups.University students have been chosen as the object of study becausethey are the most active part of the youth, who have socialized in a marketeconomy, have a different mentality compared to previous generations,transmit their lifestyle to the entire population through numerous channels,set semantic paradigms, development trajectories, contours of behavior inall spheres of life, based on objective circumstances, so are the trends offashion.As a result of the research, the author comes to the conclusion thatmarital-sexual relations have always had objective reasons as one of theforms of socialization, allowing to adapt to the realities of the environment, providing the opportunity to satisfy, replace the vital and socialneeds of society. The possibility of status-based vertical mobility, socialization in various fields, supported by ideology, puts physiological needs,including sex, into the background and increases its importance in conditions where it is impossible to meet basic social needs.
