Abstract

Taking into account the values of citizens in political management is the basis of effective public administration. No development program that does not take into account the values and interests of citizens will be effectively implemented, as it will have no relation to the value priorities of the population. Taking into account the values of the younger generation is one of the main conditions for the development of the state, and ignoring them inevitably leads to a loss of intergenerational communication and a very dangerous migration of the population in economic and demographic terms. Thus, identifying the values and interests of youth is a strategic task of the State for its sustainable development. The article examines the existing value orientations of youth in the regions of Russia, as well as technologies for effective dialogue between youth and government. As part of the study of this problem, the author analyzes the conducted sociological survey of the population on the formation of the image of the future of the country and the mechanisms of socio-economic development of regions and municipalities. The article shows the determinants of the lifestyle of young people, on which the image of the future of both their region and the state as a whole is based.
