Abstract

The article analyzes the key provisions of the monograph "Processes of Eurasian integration: socio-political dimension", which is a fundamental work in the field of Eurasian studies. The authors explore the philosophical, historical and cultural foundations of Eurasianism, as well as the fundamental ideas of the modern Eurasian concept. An original methodology for the study of social transformations in the context of the EAEU common economic space is proposed. The monograph considers the formation of the EAEU as an instrumental embodiment of the neo-Eurasian concept in the space of post-Soviet states. A comprehensive assessment of the formation of a single Eurasian social space is carried out, taking into account domestic and foreign experience. Researchers are also studying the development of institutional structures of Eurasian integration. Based on extensive empirical and statistical data, the study analyzes the realization of the socio-economic potential of the EAEU member states at the current stage of its development, scenarios for the effective and long-term development of integration processes, the development of economic relations between the EAEU, CSTO, SCO and BRICS. It is noted that the most important indicator of Eurasian integration at the present stage is the unification of regulatory and legal regulation within the framework of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space. Considerable attention is paid to identifying new global trends in the post-Soviet space, and measures aimed at improving the effectiveness of integration processes in the EAEU are substantiated. The analysis has convincingly proved the timeliness and progressiveness of the creation and active functioning of new integration unions of partner countries in the global economic space. Based on the formulated prospects for the development of unions, the authors have developed an optimal scenario for their implementation.
