Abstract

The purpose of the article is to identify the factors influencing the dynamics, unification and diversity of interethnic relations in Russian regions. Research methods: quantitative research methods were used: data from the state census (2010, 2022) of the population by region, statistical data, and the results of secondary sociological research. Various general scientific methods have also been applied, including the comparative method, logical and historical methods. The results obtained: the factors determining the reduction of the risks of increasing social tension and conflict in the multicultural environments of the regions of Russia have been identified; ethnoeconomical models and forecast scenarios of the relationship of new diasporic and community groups with the local population in the regions have been developed and presented, allowing to exclude discrimination of actors based on ethnicity. Scientific novelty: various types and models of ethnic and economic activities of diasporas and communities in the regions, and the specifics of their interaction with the local population, have been developed and presented. The general trends in the development of diasporic and interethnic relations characteristic of various Russian regions are highlighted. Different forecast scenarios of the relationship of new diasporic and community groups with the local population in the surveyed regions are highlighted. As a result of the study, it was revealed that interethnic relations in the interaction of diasporas and fellow countrymen with the local population (a "positive scenario"), contributing to the integration of the multiethnic population in Russian regions, are possible only with the implementation of an ethnoeconomical model of joint development ("solidarity relations and behavior"), and its main parameters are presented.
