Abstract

The article presents an analysis of social intergenerational educational mobility. The factors of social mobility are considered, modern trends associated with the strengthening of the role of the parental family are identified. The author comes to the conclusion that the declared equality of opportunities, the emphasis only on the personal qualities of the subject as the only factor of mobility, the underestimation of the role of family resources can lead to disappointment, becoming one of the reasons for the dcline in social mobility.
