EDN MYKEOM.ISSN 2072-7240DOI нетРИНЦ: https://elibrary.ru/item.asp?id=82995351Posted on site: 01.11.25 AbstractThe study is devoted to solving one of the most important tasks of improving customs administration - assessing the burden distribution on customs officials, taking into account the experience of the five member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan). The article identifies key factors aimed at preventing uneven load distribution, identifies the features of ensuring equal conditions of service in compliance with labor regulations.; An assessment of the impact of indicators on the effectiveness of customs administration and measures to optimize tasks and assignments between officials is given. It has been established that the practical mechanisms of load redistribution are subject to significant variability, being in direct correlation with the legislative, macroeconomic and socio-cultural characteristics of a particular state. Based on the study of organizational structures, mechanisms of interdepartmental interaction and assessment systems in customs authorities, positive experience has been extrapolated, recommendations have been developed to optimize the functioning of the domestic customs service in order to increase the effectiveness of management in this area and ensure the national security of the Russian Federation.
