The study covers the period from 2020 to 2022 and includes an analysis of data for 81 regions of Russia. The quality of life of the population is an important indicator of the effectiveness of public policy and the level of well-being of society.russia lags behind economically developed countries in key socio-economic indicators such as the minimum wage, pensions, and housing.russia has a high level of interregional inequality, which is associated with differences in economic development and competitive advantages of the regions. Most regions have a high correlation between quality of life, consumer spending, and GRP per capita. Regions dependent on the export of raw materials are especially vulnerable to fluctuations in world prices and foreign policy changes, which negatively affects the quality of life of the population. The effectiveness of government management in the regions plays an important role in improving the quality of life. Regions with low governance efficiency face more serious socioeconomic problems. The study emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to improving the quality of life of the population, including improving social policy, reducing interregional inequality and diversifying the economy. Only by taking into account the specifics of each region and using resources effectively can sustainable and balanced development of the entire country be achieved.Content (in russ)hide table of contentsshow table of contents
